In this economy some people have found more creative approaches to reaching new customers. A bit over the top is Paul Saad of Merrill Lynch who recently hosted his Financial Planning Seminar at Pinkies Nail Salons in Danville, Ca.
Paul and his associates held in information packed evening for 15 pre-registered women on "Financial Planning for Women" complete with scrumptious hors d'oeuvres, wine and deserts. When word got out, the event was fully booked in hours!
While his guests received Pinkies Pedi's they were educated on the intricacies of financial planning. The group asked very good, direct questions and got relevant answers. Guest came away educated and much more knowledgeable about their finances.
