The owners of hugely successful Forty Six Two salon in Danville, California have made magic again. Chris and Denica Ruggieri just opened dabble a contemporary make-up and cosmetic boutique at Blackhawk Plaza.

Pinkies Nail Salons owners, Derik Landry and Connie Kullberg, were on hand to help wish the owners and staff at dabble their best wishes. "The shop is attractive, filled with fun products, and staff are knowledgeable," Kullberg said, "it's a great addition to the Plaza."

dabble staff are all licensed aestheticians trained in make-up application, eyelash application/extension, threading, and are looking forward to providing facial services in the near future. Staff are also available for make-up lessons, cosmetic and hair product consultation.

Financial Planning & Pedi's at Pinkies

In this economy some people have found more creative approaches to reaching new customers. A bit over the top is Paul Saad of Merrill Lynch who recently hosted his Financial Planning Seminar at Pinkies Nail Salons in Danville, Ca.

Paul and his associates held in information packed evening for 15 pre-registered women on "Financial Planning for Women" complete with scrumptious hors d'oeuvres, wine and deserts. When word got out, the event was fully booked in hours!

While his guests received Pinkies Pedi's they were educated on the intricacies of financial planning. The group asked very good, direct questions and got relevant answers. Guest came away educated and much more knowledgeable about their finances.

Bouquets to Art 2009

March 17-21 at the de Young

Bouquets to Art is the largest fundraiser benefitting the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Connie Kullberg and Derik Landry look forward to this event every year. This year's magnificent installation is at the de Young in Golden Gate Park.

There are nearly 150 floral exhibitions in the museum galleries during the weeklong event. The "bouquets" are inspired by and displayed next to works of art.

This year floral designer, friend, and client Emily Dreblow (http://www.soulflowersf.com/) created an orginal masterpiece for this event.

Natural Nails Only in the Bungalow

Pinkies Nails Salons on Potrero Hill has two locations on opposite corners of 20th & Missouri atop Potrero Hill. One side, the Bungalow, is reserved for Natural Manicures and Pedicures and is acrylic free. Although acrylic nails are perfectly safe and fun they are not for everyone.

The smell of acrylic nail treatments can be unpleasant especially for pregnant women. Pinkies bungalow is acrylic free, relaxing, private, baby friendly. Please advise the receptionist when booking your appointment.
